This was singularly a bad experience beginning with needing to place a 150$ deposit for the pet. I questioned this and was told this is a franchise not a corporate Motel 6 and they were allowed to do this. I was admonished and warned multiple times that there might be a cleaning fee because of the pet. I have stayed at motel 6 many times and have never had such treatment. Additionally the towels were poorly laundered being rough and grey. The toilet seat was loose and the room was located where there was a constant leak from the h vac unit making it impossible to enter the room with dry feet. Normally I am looking for clean and comfortable not perfect but after the unpleasant treatment and the admonishment received at check in these were a glaring offense. Also the same man from check in was pushing laundry carts through the area at 2 am. I have otherwise enjoyed good treatment and pleasant stays with motel 6.

It's a very nice motel- it's quiet, comfortable and clean. The manager Jim is very nice and helpful. This location is much better than the other one in Santa Maria.
Good hotel right off the freeway. Room was clean. Nicely remodeled. Bed was comfortable. Clean shower. Got the job done. Jim, the owner, is a very nice man. Willing to work with the customer. Overall, it was a nice stay.
Centrally located in Santa Maria and reasonably priced together with efficient professional staffing and retail and restaurant choices close by this lower cost hotel/motel option that also includes attention to details and customer needs. In addition the husband and wife management team Jim and Maria(?) made my stay quite comfortable.
We were happy with our stay. The bathroom window would not lock, but otherwise everything functioned well. The room was clean and we slept well. The hot water and tea in lobby were appreciated on cold night. Simple and basic, but what we needed.
My fifth trip hére from Texas. Room clean and one of the only places in town that offer smoking rooms. They always take care of me.
The rooms smelled so clean when we walked in! The hardwood floors were so much nicer than carpet and our bed was quite comfortable! My only dislikes were no coffee in the room and no hair dryer either.... Those are now standard with the price such as we paid and would have gotten a 5 star rating... Will rethink our options when we come down next year. But overall, was very nice.
